Do you sometimes find that network latency or system load causes SNMP to not respond fast enough and leave you with empty spots in your Cacti graphs?  Do the graphs look like they've had their teeth punched out?  If so, we have a solution for you.

I'm installing the MacTrack plugin for Cacti to poll and track the location of MAC addresses on our networks, and the installation documentation is a bit sparse. I'm putting the details here for anyone else who finds themself in a place where the documentation doesn't match what you're seeing on your system.
