Nagios

Nagios hardly needs an introduction.  It started as Netsaint before an unfortunate case of trademark bullying forced Ethan to change the product's name.  Over the years it has evolved into a powerful community-driven monitoring application whose plugin architecture allows for dynamic adaptation of the core engine to almost any environment's needs.  We write many of our own plugins, shaping the base into the tools we need to understand our clients' systems and their behavior.  As a user of Nagios since 2001, we have a deep understanding of how to get the most from its flexibility.
